Important Update for 2022...
- Building work to change the front entrance of FCC and upgrade the cafe area in the New Year means we are unable to use the Main Hall for around 3 months. We will therefore be using the Sports Hall once we have been told a start date!
- We will have three parts to our Sunday morning:
- Inter-generational Family Gathering (10-10:40am)
- Sung Worship (10:45-11:15am)
- Talk, prayer and ministry (11:20-12:00pm)
- We will continue to be mindful of any restrictions that may occur due to Covid, however our focus will be on building friendships and relationships as well as serving our neighbours and transforming our neighbourhoods.
On the first Sunday of each month we will continue to serve our neighbours and community through our Neighbourhood Sunday. All other weeks we are at FCC.
On the third Sunday of the month, after the gathering at FCC, we also invite you (as church) to meet around that sacred place we call table! If you have any questions or would like to help out by serving on a team, please get in touch by contacting us at sunday@coventryvineyard.org.uk. See more here in our Sunday Gathering Update for 2022 |

- We will Live Stream our Sunday Morning Gathering for those who are not ready to be ‘back-in-person’ and we will provide space for those who are want to maintain distance and not feel overwhelmed at being back with others. Talks will also be made available on the Podcast during the week.
- The Community Centre is on a major bus route - Buses 20, 20A, 20B, 20C, 48C, Stop ID: nwmpwatp (Phoenix Way), a 12 min ride from Pool Meadow. It is only two miles north of Sidney Stringer Academy, approximately a 5-10 min drive. There is limited and free on -site parking .
FAQ's to meeting in-person:
What time are we gathering?
10:00am doors open for fellowship (see question below about refreshments)
10:30am until around 12pm for the main gathering
Will there be refreshments?
Refreshments are currently reduced while we build the Catering Team up again.
If you would like to join this team, please email sunday@coventryvineyard.org.uk to let us know
Biscuits and/or pastries will be made available, but please bring your own drinks (in a lidded bottle or thermos).
If you don't own a thermos, we have some Coventry Vineyard branded ones available for purchase.
Is there parking at Foleshill Community Centre?
Yes there is parking onsite at Foleshill Community Centre. Parking is free, but also limited (approx. 25 spaces).
We encourage you to bring one car for your family where possibly, or why not share a lift with someone in your area and enjoy some fellowship on your way to/from church as well.
How will the gathering be Covid secure?
We will be actively encouraging those who can to wear masks while moving around the building, praying for others during ministry times, and while singing during worship.
There will also be a seating area for those who still wish to maintain social distancing, with chairs spread out.
We also ask that everyone be respectful of each other around social distancing; be mindful that some may wish to stand a little further apart when having conversations, or may not be comfortable with hugging at this time.
We kindly ask that you do not come to a gathering if you or someone in your household is showing symptoms.
We have a Covid outbreak plan in place should anyone test positive after being with us on a Sunday. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible.
There will also be a QR code you can scan for Track & Trace if you wish.
Can we sing?
Yes! We are SO looking forward to worshipping together again.
If you would like to sing, we ask that you wear a mask while doing so. If you prefer not to sing at this time, that is absolutely fine, just be mindful that you may wish to sit further back in the room.
Are teams starting up again?
YES! Some of our teams have been merged or their roles changed slightly, however we still need to have a complete team each Sunday to make sure each element of the gathering runs smoothly.
We are aware a lot has changed since we last met in person, and so ask that you recommit by signing up afresh for any Sunday Teams you wish to be part of. We are not automatically re-assigning teams.
There is more information about serving on teams on our 'Serving' page here.
If you have any questions, or want to know how you can get involved please email sunday@coventryvineyard.org.uk
What about my children?
There will be provision for Kids and Youth during our Sunday gatherings.
Our first few weeks in the new venue will be all-age gatherings together in the main hall. We are bringing back our Kids Slot, which we all know and love from the past few months of live streaming, and a few weeks down the line there will be groups for Kids and Youth in separate areas of the building.
My child is too small for kids church. Can I stay in the main gathering?
Absolutely! There is a soft-seating area where you are welcome to sit if you'd prefer a squidgy chair and a bit of space for your little one to roam around.
Will there still be a live stream?
Yes we are planning to continue live-streaming our Sunday gatherings.
We do ask that you bear with our Tech Team as they get used to the new setup, and appreciate your patience if there are any technical hitches which stop the live stream from happening.
I don't want to be on camera... how will that work with the live stream?
The live stream is primarily to capture what's going on at the front of the room. The camera will be set up a little further back next to the tech equipment, which means it may well capture the back of some heads too.
If you are not comfortable with this, we simply ask that you choose a seat on the other side of the hall.
If you're on rota to be 'up front' or share a story, and are not comfortable for that to go out on the live stream, please have a chat with Clair and she will talk you through the options for making that work.

Neighbourhood Sunday: Please note that on the first Sunday of each month we are out in our neighbourhoods bringing the life of the kingdom to our neighbours. This means being church out in our neighbourhoods; engaging with our community together; building authentic relationships, sowing seeds of the kingdom across the city by sacrificially serving and expressing God’s love in practical ways.
