Who are you meant to be?
"The most important task of your life is not what you do but who you become. " -John Ortberg. There is a 'you', you want to be. A picture in your mind of who you want to become. Ironically, becoming the person you are meant to be will never happen if your main focus in on the ‘me’. Only God knows who he has made you to be. And He is guiding you towards the best version of 'you' all the time. |
To become the real "You", is to embrace who God has made you to be. There is a better, holier, more godly and more human of you that God is guiding you towards. It happens as you stay in the flow of His Presence. In this talk Nick introduces our new topic and explains how we can become the person we were meant to be.

Becoming who we are meant to be, involves the renewal of our minds. In this talk, Nick explains that to become the real "You" is to be open to the Holy Spirit renewing how we think and behave. This happens as we put into practice the words of Jesus.
|
A big part of who we are is how we spend our time. In this talk, Vicki challenges us in how we use our time. Does our use of time honour God? Do we make the most of the time God has given us? How do we prioritse and do all that we are meant to do in the time God has given us?

In order to become the ‘you God has made you to be’, you must be in relationship. We need relationships to grow. We do not grow in isolation. Becoming ‘you’ always involves others. In this talk Nick looks at how a church ‘loves one another’ and why making life giving relationships a priority of your time is so important.
