Prayer
Prayer is something everyone can do.
It is how we communicate with God get to know Him and His heart for others.
We are called to live in relationship with God and the foundation of any relationship is communication.
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month to pray.
In particular we pray for:
1. Our Sunday Morning Gathering - for continued growth and for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we gather to worship King Jesus.
2. Life Groups - for people to grow as disciples and go and make disciples.
3. Our kids and young people - that their faith would be vibrant and strong as they navigate life.
4. Our neighbourhoods and communities - that we would love our neighbours and express love and compassion in practical ways to those around us.
5. Our partnership churches in Mali - for the kingdom to come amongst and through our Vineyard brothers and sisters.

Sunday Morning PrayerEvery Sunday morning from 9:45 - 10am we invite you to pray for our Sunday Morning Gathering, and all that God is wanting to do amongst us, for guests and for our children and youth. This is an invite to all.

Neighbourhood prayer walkingMany people in our different neighbourhoods get together to pray for their local area and for the world. This can look like people prayer walking in their local streets in an informal basis, or joining as a life group (where suitable). Click here for info about how to "prayer walk".

Fasting
Fasting is a key discipline of following Jesus. We can fast from many things, but choosing to go without food for a time is a discipline that has been practised by followers of Jesus through the centuries. We suggest that you start by fasting from a specific food or a meal or two on a regular basis. For example on one day a week why not skip breakfast and lunch, sning that time to pray and simply be in God's presence, then enjoy your evening meal with thankfulness and gratitude. Linked with prayer, fasting is a powerful weapon in the spiritual battle we are in.
