Money Course

The CAP Money Course is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works.

This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt. The CAP Money Course is a course devised by the award winning debt counselling charity, Christians Against Poverty.

During three sessions you will learn:

How to build a budget. This is the cornerstone of managing your money well. The session includes advice on how to increase your income and how to cut costs.
The CAP Money system. This system will help to simplify your money and make it understandable. It operates using three accounts for your money: a regular payments account, a cash account and a savings account.
To use cash instead of cards. Living on cash and getting away from cards means you know exactly where you are and helps you to spend less money.

By applying these principles, you will learn how to manage your money, and live your life!

Debt centre

The Coventry CAP Debt Centre exists to help people who are in ‘chronic’ debt move towards a position of being debt free.

We visit people in their homes, work with them to understand their debt situation and then recommend how to move forward.

Each step of the way we work with our clients to give them professional and free help from a charity that has won many awards over the years and in doing so bring the love of Christ into their particular situation.
