Sunday Talks
This is the place to find our Sunday Morning Talks. Click on the audio files below to listen. Our teaching covers a wide range of carefully-considered topics. We aim to have a wide variety of subject matter, and have series studying books of the Bible, key life issues, spiritual growth and things that we in Coventry Vineyard want to learn about or grow in.
During the Covid 19 Crisis, many of us have struggled with our emotional health. Jesus brings real hope to whatever situation you are facing. Over the next two months as a church, we are going to be going on a journey. Following Jesus, being his disciple, is a journey. A journey of maturity, transformation and hope.
Our emotional health is directly linked to our spiritual maturity. It is simply not possible for a 'Christian' to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. |
Use the following resources to continue the conversation with your life group. Or find some trusted companions to share this journey of emotional maturity with.
One key way to grow in emotional and spiritual health, is the spiritual exercise of 'Confession', this was mentioned in our talk on 'Living in Brokenness and Vulnerability. Check out this resource on Confession & Self Examination.
The book of Ephesians has so much to say about what it means to be a faithful follower of Jesus; to be chosen ans have your itentity found "in Christ". Join us as we explore this wonderful book and seek to obey the Holy Spirit as he encourages and challenges us to 'be' church.
"It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone."
- Ephesians 1:11-12 (the Message) |

Reconciliation is at the heart of the gospel of Jesus - that in him and through him God reconciles all things (Colossians 1:20). How do we live life as a people committed to the message of reconciliation? How do we bring the power of reconciliation into our homes, our neighbourhoods and the world around us? How do we participate, with God, in community transformation?
Join us as we commit to being a people of reconciliation and bring true community transformation as we follow Jesus into our neighbourhoods. |
