Jesus told his followers to “go and make disciples… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matt 28:18-19) We want to be people who equip one another to be apprentices of Jesus, obedient to the Holy Spirit. We believe in being “naturally supernatural” and that God is still very involved in speaking to us (the prophetic), healing, and working through us for other miracles, signs and wonders.
Therefore we value:
(i) Choosing to help one another live as apprentices of Jesus, be spiritually transformed and excel at living.
(ii) Being sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit and continue the mission of Jesus, expecting to see God's Kingdom in action in our own lives.
(iii) Developing habits of multiplying disciples who influence and engage with those we share life with.

We want to equip people to become more like Jesus, to do the things that Jesus did (and still does...)
Jesus spoke a message of liberation and freedom. And he demonstrated his message with action. Jesus did things that showed people what the Kingdom of God was like. In his first public announcement, he declared: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour." Luke 4:18-19 He then demonstrated this by doing exactly these things. |
Jesus trained up followers, disciples, apprentices. In Luke 9 and 10 Jesus sends out his followers to "proclaim the kingdom of God" through their words and their actions. He equipped them to build for the kingdom of God, to continue the mission of God in putting the world right.
We are serious about discipleship, serious about living a life that changes things for the better. We believe that the best place to do this is together in Life Groups, where people are passionate about living a life following the person and teaching of Jesus. Find out more about Life Groups here. |
